Pine Hills Store Employee Arrested For Serving Alcohol To 17-Year-Old

ALBANY, NY – A 22-year-old Albany man was arrested for selling alcohol to a person under the age of 21 Saturday night on Quail Street.

On Saturday, September 4, 2021 at approximately 10:55 p.m., officers observed Hamzah Al- Shaheri sell an alcoholic beverage to a female while he was working at All Star Pizza, 224 Quail Street. Officers learned through investigation that the female who purchased the beverage from Al-Shaheri was only 17-years-old.

Al-Ahaheri has been charged with one count of Unlawfully Dealing with a Child 1st. He is scheduled to appear in Albany City Criminal Court on September 20, 2021. The case has also been referred to the New York State Liquor Authority.
