Man Charged With Weapon Possession following an incident on Quail Street

A 38-year-old Albany man is facing a weapon charge following a search warrant Saturday morning on Quail Street
On Saturday, September 16, 2023 at around 7:50 a.m. officers responded to the area of Quail Street and Second Street for reports of a domestic related incident. During the investigation, detectives recovered a loaded revolver from inside the residence. Shaquan Canteen was ultimately taken into custody.
Canteen was charged with one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd
He was arraigned Sunday morning in Albany City Criminal Court and remanded to Albany County Jail.
