Man Charged With Weapon Possession Following an Incident on First Street
Albany, NY
A 34-year-old man who was in possession of a handgun has been arrested.
On Sunday, September 10, 2023 at around 12:15 a.m. officers responded to the 500 block of First Street for reports of a group fighting. Upon arrival, officers observed Algun Inman to be in possession of a 9mm handgun that was located in the waistband of his pants. Inman was taken into custody.
He was charged with one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd, three counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd and one count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th.
He was arraigned in Albany City Criminal Court and Remanded to the Albany County Jail.
