Man Charged Following a Person With a Weapon Call on Brevator Street

Albany, NY-  A 33- year old Albany man has been charged in connection with a person with a weapon call that occurred on Sunday, August 27, 2023.

On Sunday, August 27, 2023 around 2:30 p.m. officers responded to the area of Brevator Street and Western Avenue for reports of a person with a weapon.  Upon arrival, a male victim told officers that while inside a residence on Brevator Street, Albert Lindh, a person known to him pointed a handgun at him following an altercation. 

Lindh was observed exiting the residence and taken into custody. 

Upon further investigation Lindh had in his possession a revolver and a AR15 at the time of the incident. 

Lindh was charged with one count of Menacing 2^nd, one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2^nd and three counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3^rd. 

He was arraigned in Albany City Court and remanded to the Albany County Jail.
