
Handgun, Drugs Recovered During Search Warrants

ALBANY, NY – Albany detectives recovered a loaded handgun and a quantity of narcotics Thursday on Morton Avenue and Old Hickory Drive.
On Thursday, September 2, 2021 at approximately 10:45 a.m., Albany detectives executed a search warrant at a home on the 100 block of Morton Avenue near Eagle Street as part of an ongoing investigation. During the search warrant, 48-year-old Terry Abdulla was taken into custody.
At the time of his arrest, Abdulla was found to be in possession on a quantity of crack cocaine which he had concealed in his clothing. Detectives also recovered a loaded 9mm handgun from inside the home.
During a search warrant on Old Hickory Drive connected to the same investigation, detectives also recovered a quantity of Fentanyl.
Abdulla has been charged with three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd, two counts of Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia, one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th, one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd and one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd.
He was arraigned in Albany Criminal Court and remanded to the Albany County Jail.
