
Arrests Made, Drugs Recovered During Central Avenue Search Warrant
Albany, NY
ALBANY, NY – Three men, including one currently on parole, are facing drug charges following a search warrant Wednesday night on Central Avenue.
On Wednesday, March 8, 2023 around 9:00 p.m., the Albany Police Department’s Emergency Services Team, along with the assistance of the Colonie Police Department’s Special Services Team, executed a search warrant at 592 Central Avenue in reference to an ongoing narcotics investigation that was initiated by detectives from the APD’s Community Response Unit. During the search warrant, officers recovered a quantity of powdered cocaine, a quantity of crack cocaine, a quantity of fentanyl. In addition, several items used to distribute and sell narcotics were located inside the home.
Three individuals were located inside the property during the investigation and taken into custody. They have been charged as follows:
Ahmeek Davis, 38, of Albany:
· Arrested on the strength of a New York State Parole Warrant
· One count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd
· One count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th
· Two counts of Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd.
Karyim Brown, 38, of Queens:
· Two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd
· Two counts of Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd
Mark Greer, 39, of Queens:
· Two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd
· Two counts of Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd.
All three were arraigned Thursday morning in Albany City Criminal Court.
