Arrest Made in State Street Bank Robbery

A 59- year-old Albany man has been charged in connection with a bank robbery that occurred last month on State Street.

Leonard Price was arrested following an investigation by detectives from the Albany Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Unit. 

On July 26, 2023 around 9:00 A.M., Price entered Broadview located at 110 State Street displayed a handgun and demanded money from the drawer.  The teller complied and Price fled the bank with the cash. 

No injuries were reported during the robbery.

Price has been charged with one count of Robbery 1^st.

He was arraigned in Albany City Criminal Court and remanded to Albany County Jail.
