Arrest Made in Friday Evenings Bank Robbery

A 54-year-old Albany man has been charged in connection with a bank robbery that occurred Friday evening on State Street.
On Friday, November 17, 2023, around 5:30 p.m., Reginald Knox entered TD Bank , located at 125 State Street and passed a note stating he had a gun and demanded cash from the drawer. The teller complied and Knox fled the bank with the cash.
Furthering the investigation, officers located and took Knox into custody after a short foot pursuit In the area of Green Street and South Ferry Street.
No injuries were reported during the robbery.
Knox has been charged with one count of Robbery 1st and one count of Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd.
He was arraigned this morning in Albany City Criminal Court and remanded to the Albany County Jail.
